Bjørn Slaatten is an independent average adjuster appointed by the Norwegian Government. The office offers assistance within most types of marine insurance claims handling including:

• General average
• Hull and Machinery Insurance including claims involving Mobile Drilling Units
• Loss of Hire
• Builders Risk
• Dispute resolutions

The average adjusting company which was established in January 1996 has extensive experience with handling large and complex cases world wide within these insurance areas, primarily based on the Norwegian Marine Insurance Plan and the Nordic Marine Insurance Plan, but also cases based on e.g. English, German and American clauses.
